Of course I have a facebook page, who doesnt right? But really what the hell are we doing? I mean do we really care what someone we went to school with 20 years ago ate for lunch.Or the friend of a friend is getting married. What grade their kid got on their math test? NO!! we dont so lets quit acting like we do!
Yes I do REALLY care about what the few close people I have on there are doing, but then again I talk to them on a regular basis and dont have to get my info from Facebook.
Look at it this way, we are much more excited to post about our day then we are to read anyones elses posts right? We want people to read our posts, it's very narcisistic if you think about it.
For example, do I really want everyone to know that I am throwing a temper tantrum because my boss made me mad? Do I want everyone to know that I forgot to drop the electric bill in the mail and had to argue on the phone with the lady in the office that I did pay it to only find it laying on the counter? NO not really and no one cares .
Writing all this personal stuff on your page is no different then standing on stage in front on hundreds of people and describing to them what type of bowel movement you just had (yes i have seen that posted!).
Would you really do that? Please say no. But hey thats just me.....

My New guilty pleasure
So I am loving the new talk show on CBS The Talk! http://www.cbs.com/daytime/the_talk/
This is usually the time of day I am ready to take a break from the usual laundry,dishes and vacuuming .
I have to admit, I wasn't immediately drawn into the mix of personalities but now I feel it balances out well. Sharon is such a natural at being herself in front of others, she seems to be the one who makes herself the most vulnerable, Leah is too catty for my liking, enough of the tough girl act already! Sarah is my favorite, she seems to be the most genuine . Holly really is the most boring of them all, while she is talking is when I usually run to the restroom and Julie plays the "Host" very well.
I hope that as they shows gains popularity that the guest get more interesting. I hope this shows stays around for a while, I am eager to see which of the host stay and grow and who gets replaced, my guess is Leah and Holly will be the first to go. But hey thats just me.....
